And now Owen is five. He's still the sweetest little guy. Still small, a little shy with a mind of his own, but super, super sweet too. He's a great cuddler and loves to snuggle up on the couch with you. Don't even think of asking this little guy to sleepor even nap on the floor either. Never, ever happens. He still doesn't like the pool at all so swimming isn't his thing but he has an incredible love of chasing anything that flies in the yard. He's a big fan of fat bumble bees but dragonflies are definitely his favorite! Just last week he turned on the speed (which is rare in Owen's world) and chased and caught a lizard running across the patio. He was not too happy to be told to let it go but did and walked away pouting, only to come right back when I turned around to look for it again!
No puppy birthday would be complete without a frosty paws ice cream treat complete with a candle and sprinkles on top!
Both Owen and Piper believe that anytime they see a gift bag it must be for them. Just sit a gift bag on a counter and they will both watch it and whine, waiting for you to give it to them. Around our house, both pups get presents on each others birthday.
Not that it matters, because sometimes it's just more fun to put two heads in the same bag!
